Hungarian beekeeping literature has written since 1895 about washboarding bees, which rock rhythmically above the hive entrance. It is a rare phenomenon, and I managed to capture it on camera. Its cause is still unknown. In this article I summarise earlier observations and share my own hypotheses as well.

We will also write after the extraction, and once more before winter sets in.
